Open Access science needs Open Science Sensemaking (OSSm)

This paper argues for the necessity of Open Science Sensemaking (OSSm) to address the challenges of information overload and knowledge fragmentation in the scientific community. It proposes an interoperable and decentralized annotation network that allows researchers to record, own, and share their sensemaking data, thereby enhancing collective scientific understanding.
